This Program is approved by the state and is designed to educate and certify tanning equipment operators.  It is a North Carolina State law that anyone operating tanning equipment for public use must be at least eighteen years old and have this certification.  

The all-day-class begins at 9:00.  Students are responsible for lunch and snacks. There are several fast-food restaurants in the area.    You must pre-register to be guaranteed a place in the class.  

Visa, Master Card, cash or money order are accepted.                                        

NO CHECKS ACCEPTED.  

 There will be a $10 cancellation fee up to 5 days prior to the class. 

Cancellations five days prior to class or not showing up once registered for a class will not receive a refund.     

Replacement Tanning Certificates are $10. You will need to know the date you took the training class. DENR requires that we keep class information for two years, but we try to maintain continuous records.

Classes have been taught by Totally Tan since 1997 and have assisted many tanning salons prior to beginning a business and continually while in business.  This class is a must before you open your salon or if you have new employees in an existing salon that need to meet the state requirement.
